Except for a few experiments during my time at the university of computer engineering, where I discovered for fun what could be done with a pentium mmx in c + asm, I hadnt tried my hand at game development anymore, having undertaken a career after graduation.

This game was created by my son, a 7-year-old boy, who is as passionate about videogames as so many and as eager to create one.
So I decided to give him some of my time as a developer and showed him how to create a game from start to finish.
I made him understand what and who is behind the development of something that we often ignore how much time and effort it costs to those who do it.We did not use any library, we did everything from scratch, designed the sprites, wrote the software that manages the animations of the objects synchronizing them to the events of the game, mounted the sound effects, emulated the joystick with gestures, created the parallax management system of the background, implemented the collision detection system of the objects and the designed the scene manager.We worked on it at least 30-40 hours, but in the end we played our game, one level, one more demo ...
but I hope it will be much more, I hope it will be the one that pushes this 7 year old (and many others) to study computer science, become a software engineer and hopefully create wonderful games to give adventures and dreams to others.I hope you enjoy his game ...
